Q. How do I sign up for Sprout Builder service?

A. Sprout Builder is offered as a subscription service. To select your subscription level or to get started, click here.

Q. Can I try before I buy?

A. Sprout offers a FREE Limited account for those users interested in trying our service before signing up for a paid account. While this account level has limited functionality it should provide a good sense of how the platform works.

Q. Is there a free version of Sprout Builder?

A. Yes, Sprout offers a free version of Sprout Builder. You can subscribe here, without entering a credit card. The free account is limited to three projects, 100 MB of storage and 10 GB/month bandwidth.

Q. Does the paid version allow me to download my sprouts and flash files?

A. No, Sprout Builder does not currently offer any options to download SWF/Flash files to be served independently.

Q. What happened to the 30-Free Trial when I sign up for a paid account?

A. Because we offer a FREE Limited account we’ve discontinued the 30-Day Free trial.

Q. What happens to my sprouts if I cancel my subscription?

A. If you cancel your subscription both your account and your existing Sprouts will be made inactive and you won’t be able to access them.

Q. I just changed my credit card or funding source in PayPal, why did I receive an email that my account was canceled?

A. If you change/update/remove any of your funding sources in PayPal, we will receive a notification from PayPal that your subscription has been canceled.  We understand that this is not what you were trying to do but PayPal does not provide any alternative. Rest assured, your information and sprouts are still safe.  Send an email to pricing and we will solve the situation.

Q. Can I receive the software on a CD or download to use without the internet?

A. No, Sprout Builder is a web-hosted service which requires you to be connected to the Internet in order to use it. Sprout Builder is not available on a CD or as a download.

Q. What is a project?

A. A project is the same as a “sprout.” Each time you create a sprout from a blank slate or from a pre-built template, you have created a new project. Every project you create counts towards your total number of projects.

Q. How do I delete a project?

A. To delete a project, sign in to your account and select the “projects” tab in the drop-down menu. Determine which project you would like to delete by scrolling through your projects. Select the “delete” link next to the desired project and confirm your selection. The project is now deleted and will no longer count towards your total number of projects. Deleted projects will not be retrieveable and no longer display anywhere they are posted.

Q. What happens when I hit my project (or number of sprouts) limit?

A. When you hit your project limit you will no longer be able to create new projects unless you delete existing projects or upgrade to a higher level.

Q. How is the bandwidth measured?

A. Bandwidth is measured by the size of your of your sprout and the accompanying assets/media that we deliver from our servers (files which you have uploaded and the Sprout Flash player). If all of your files are referenced using a URL then the only element that count towards your bandwidth is the Sprout Flash player. If you have multiple files that are hosted using the Sprout asset hosting, then each time that file is viewed in a sprout it counts towards your bandwidth.

Q. Instead of a subscribe button, I’m seeing “Not eligible.” Why am i not eligible for an account?

A. Your current account has too many projects to be eligible for that account type. To become eligible you will need to delete some projects first.

Q. What additional support packages are available?

A. Gold ($499): Virtual 1-on-1 Training (3 hours) and Additional Virtual training ($200/hr)
Platinum (Call for pricing): Virtual 1-on-1 training (8 hours), 1 Group Training Session, Direct Hotline access, and Additional Training at ($200/hr)

Q. What if I still have questions?
