Today we’re launching a new product for Facebook called Sprout Publisher that provides Facebook fan page administrators with a better means of starting conversations with their fans. Administrators can now reach fans with highly interactive content and applications that display in the fan page feed and in the fans’ personal activity streams, without the need for fans to add the application.
We’re proud to launch this new product with Disney, whose ‘Gift an Alien’ campaign is live and populating Facebook. Here’s where you can find the Gift an Alien on campaign Facebook.
A free, Sprout-branded version of Sprout Publisher is available with templates for common branded content such as coupons, frames, event notifications and news flashes simply by adding the Sprout Builder application to your account. Sprout also offers completely customized creations like ‘Gift an Alien’ on a fee basis. Contact us for more information about how we can work together.
Here’s a demo of how the Gift an Alien campaign works:
If you’d like more information about the product launch and how you can start using publisher, check out the Sprout below. This Sprout also includes an addition demo that shows how Publisher works with Facebook fan pages.

Your link is not working “adding the sprout builder application”
Fixed, thanks for the heads up Brian. Let me know what you think of the application.
I’ve always been a little confused by what is possible with the sproutbuilder and my facebook fanpage. I would love to publish my sprout there, will this help me do that? It’s not transparrent to me.
Brian,
Thanks for your question about Sprout Builder. It’s a very flexible tool that you can use to build everything from widgets to fan pages on Facebook. In either case, Builder gives you an embed code after when you publish your creation. You can use this code to embed what you’ve created on Facebook, or elsewhere.
You can find a great demo on embedding your creation on Facebook here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lBkbVKTJ4E
You can also check out the Tutorials section of our site for other demos that might be useful.
